Apple announces WWDC 2021, the event where the company reveals everything related to their software.
Apple will hold the 2021 WorldWide Developers Conference on 7 June 2021. The keynote of WWDC 2021 will act as the curtain-raiser for developers to prepare themselves for Apple’s next software release. The June event will highlight updates in user interface and features we can expect to see in Apple’s operating systems.
Since the pandemic shows no signs of slowing down, the company decided to once again host its developers’ event online. Interested candidates can sign-up for the preview programme through Apple’s developers website.
The week-long event will include virtual conferences that’ll provide key demos highlighting newly-formed features Apple wants application builders to use. The WWDC will also give us a glimpse into the latest privacy features that Apple will introduce with the iOS 14.5 update.
Apple recently forced developers to inform users about how their data is stored, traced, and collected. With the next software updates, Apple plans to enhance privacy and security features throughout its ecosystem. We also expect the company to introduce updated Mac products with its inherent M-based Silicon processor. Though the transition from Intel raised questions about its homegrown processor, Apple has proven the capabilities of its M1 chipset through consumer tests, critics reviews, and benchmark data.
