Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has collaborated with Apple for a movie that is going to co-star Apple’s AI based personal assistant, Siri. Earlier today he broke the news on his Twitter account along with the poster for the movie. He said: “Teamed w/ @Apple to make the biggest, coolest, sexiest, funnest (is that a word?) movie ever. Drops TOMORROW! #ROCKxSIRI #DominateYourDay”
The poster suggests that, in all probability, the movie is going to feature space travel, an alien fight, a car chase and a concert performance.
The Rock quoted:
Referring to the iPhone’s AI personal assistant, The Rock said, “And I have the greatest co-star of all time – #SIRI”
“I make movies for the world to enjoy and we also made this one to motivate you to get out there and get the job done.
I want you to watch it, have fun with it and then go LIVE IT.”
While the time when the movie will debut isn’t yet set, it will premiere on Apple’s YouTube channel on Monday, July 24th.
This is the second short film released by Apple where they teamed up with a partner. In the previous month, Apple collaborated with French director, Michel Gondry to release a short film, “Detour” which was shot entirely with an iPhone.
This project is an unusual one but it seems to have collided with the time when Apple is preparing to release the Siri-based HomePod. So, it could be the reason behind promoting its personal assistant in a fun and unique way along with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
