Fall’s most anticipated event finally has a date! Apple just sent out invites for its “California Streaming” event on September 14th 2021 at 10:30 pm IST. Like the Spring Loaded event earlier this year, the September Apple event is an online livestream due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. More on what to expect below, but it’s likely that Apple Park is going to unveil the iPhone 13 next week!
What can we expect from the Apple event?
Well, the hype is real for the next-generation iPhone 13 models, and we’re expecting that’s what the event is for. With the next-generation iPhone model, we might get a smaller notch, faster processors, and camera upgrades. We also might see a radically redesigned Watch Series 7, with a larger and flatter screen and a ton of health and tech upgrades.
However, Apple hasn’t actually announced what’s in store, so we might just be surprised. As per rumours, the tech giant is also planning to introduce new MacBook Pros, the next-generation iPad mini, and AirPods 3 this year.
For the MacBook Pros, we are expecting an upgraded Apple Silicon processor called the M1X or M2. Keeping in line with Apple’s latest design philosophy that debuted with the iPhone 12, the next-generation MacBook Pro might come with thinner bezels and a larger screen size, probably 14 and 16 inches. The iPad mini 6, on the other hand, might ditch the Home Button. Rumours also say it could come with a similar design to the iPad Air 4 but in a compact format.
Don’t forget one of Apple’s most popular products, the AirPods, which you can expect to see in a new avatar. Taking design elements from its elder cousin, the AirPods Pro, Apple’s regular entry-level wireless headphones might witness a much-needed upgrade.

Until the actual event, we can’t say if Tim Cook and company will pack all the expected products at a single Apple event — though it’s extremely unlikely. However, we’re pretty sure the iPhone 13 will be a part of it, to keep with Apple’s September launch tradition. Although last year’s iPhone 12 event saw a delay because of COVID-19 restrictions, Apple usually launches next-generation iPhones in mid-September.
And there’s something more. The next Apple Event’s invite features an AR logo. When you open webpage on iPhone’s Safari and click on the Apple logo, it will take you to an AR experience. You can see the logo move around in the real world, and going inside the logo reveals the date. Cool, right?
Apple will be livestreaming the September Apple event on its website, on the Apple TV app, and on YouTube. The YouTube livestream is already available, so set your reminders! We will also be posting live updates on Instagram and Twitter, so come hang out with us for an exciting Tuesday night.
