Here here, Apple users! We have got news for you. Your device maintenance is about to get a little heavier on your wallets. In other words, Apple has decided to increase the price for battery replacement across its product range.
It all started with the launch of the iPhone 14. Apple announced a hike in its battery replacement cost from $69 to $99. And now, they are updating the new battery price tags for all their products.
For iPhone users, the price is going up by $20. The scenario for MacBooks and iPads is a bit more complicated. You see, for all Macbook Air models, the price is going up by $30, but for its Pro variants, Apple is hiking the price by $50 (from &199 to $249), and for iPads, there’s an increase of 20$ but only for the specific models listed below:
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation and prior)
- iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation and prior)
- iPad Pro 10.5-inch
- iPad Pro 9.7-inch
- All iPad minis
- All iPad Airs
The big question is when will this take effect? Well, mark your calendars because new prices are effective from 1st March 2023. So, you should probably take care of all your Apple battery needs before the D-Day!
