Apple released iOS 11 Public Beta 2 on Wednesday and users can download the same from Apple’s Beta Program website.
The second instalment of iOS beta software was released alongside the third version of developer beta. As reported by AppleInsider:
“Registered members of Apple’s public beta testing program now have a second pre-release build of iOS 11 available to download, arriving two days after the third developer beta was released.”
The process for downloading iOS 11 Public Beta 2 is same as the Beta 1:
- Go to Apple’s Beta Program website.
- Sign up, if you haven’t already.
- Download the software.
- Install via the normal method.

What’s new with iOS 11 Public Beta 2?
Other than the fact that it’s a bit more stable, a few other things have changed in iOS 11 Public Beta 2:
“The latest beta of iOS 11 includes a fix for Bluetooth connection issues usingWirelesss iAP protocol. It also brings back the “swipe up” gesture to close an app in the app switcher and Control Center view on iPad.”
Be warned that it’s still a beta and must not installed on your daily use device.
