Hey guys, we’re back with yet another iPhone 7 rumour for you. Boy, there doesn’t seem to be any end to them, and by them time we’re done with all the predictions, the iPhone 7 will have the capacity to launch a rocket into outer space while cooking you a gourmet meal in under an hour!
This rumour, however, is tamer in comparison and seems more plausible than the ones we’ve heard so far. So here goes … This September, we might get to meet a black iPhone 7!
Told ya, pretty tame as far as rumours go.
Full disclosure, the phone is not going to be exactly black. It is, supposedly, a “much darker shade of Space Gray”. However, Apple’s own definition of space gray over the years has been … um … shady. Pun intended.
As a Redditor pointed out, here are all the space grey devices Apple has launched so far:
As you can see, they lack consistency. This time around, they’ve apparently decided to be inspired by the shade sported by the Apple Watch. Therefore, it should be closer to black than ever before.
Based on that rumour, digital artist Martin Hajek has created an entire gallery of what the black iPhone 7 might look like. He’s also taken into consideration other rumours floating around about the upcoming iPhone, such as:
- Redesigned antenna lines
- Larger camera
- No headphone jack; and
- Slightly slimmer design when compared to iPhone 6s
