Varun – The MacMan

All-Tech Fanboy. Digital Marketing Professional. Former Copywriter.

Although he lusts after everything nerdy, Varun’s love for Apple borders on the scary. You can easily mistake his room for a mini Apple store, with too many gadgets proudly displayed like Mona Lisas.

He knows all possible digital media tricks like the back of his iPhone, while his stint with copywriting ensures an endless supply of kickass punchlines for articles and promotions.

He’s also the resident expert for all tech info, which keeps getting replenished by the countless blogs, podcasts, magazines, and YouTube channels he religiously follows.

And if all this wasn’t enough, we make him write as well.

Pooja – The Pragmatist

Seasoned Writer. Social Media Expert. New Apple Lover.

Pooja has been writing professionally since the pre-iPod days. She has written about everything under the sun, and beyond it.

Her love affair with Apple started when she fell for the blue eyed iPhone 5C. As it is with most romances, she was apprehensive and resistant initially, but eventually gave into the temptation of the sinful Apple.

Pooja has two special talents (read ‘obsessions’) – updating all social media profiles with equal enthusiasm and giving English lessons with minutest corrections. Both are perfectly suited for Applesutra, we think!

Amit – The Doctor

Writer. Humorist. Left-leaning Liberal.

Although Amit owns a lot of Apple devices and often fawns on them with starry eyes, at the core, he’s an Android person. Quite frankly, it’s a bit scary how much he trusts Google.

We have reasons to believe he might actually be an undercover Android bot sent to spy on Apple (Shhh…), but we keep him because he brings to the table the perspective of an “outsider” and keeps us from getting too biased in our opinions.

At one point of time in his life, Amit wanted to be an Economist. And then a Civil Servant. Fortunately, both disasters were averted in the nick of time.

Today he writes for Applesutra with great enthusiasm, and we can’t help but wonder if that isn’t just as bad!
