One thing the pandemic has taught us all is binge-watching online TV shows and content. We already have a lot of content from Netflix, Prime Video, etc. However, as die-hard Apple fans, Apple TV+ is also a platform we keep a close eye on. There are a bunch of Apple TV+ shows we can look forward to in 2021. So, here’s a quick look at some upcoming Apple TV+ shows and movies that you might want to tune into.
Truth Be Told Season 2
Truth Be Told is returning after a fantastic season one that witnessed Poppy Parnell, a news podcaster portrayed by Octavia Spencer, rise to nationwide fame while investigating a murder. In the next season of the Apple TV+ series, we’ll see Poppy risking everything, including her friendship and life, in pursuit of truth and justice. After a successful first season, I’m looking forward to spending some quality binge-watching hours. The series is currently ongoing with a new episode every Friday.
See Season 2
If the likes of Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, and Sylvia Hoeks weren’t reason enough to watch See, its plot is sure to make you want more and more. The post-apocalyptic series focuses on how the human race has lost the ability to sight. Season 2 premiered on August 27, and a new episode will be dropping every Friday. I, for one, can’t wait to dive into the lives of the people of Alkenny village.
The Morning Show Season 2
To be completely honest, Jennifer Aniston was reason enough to hook me onto this Apple original series. And I’m glad because it turned out to be quite a great show. In its next season, the cast is ready to entertain us starting September 17, showing us the “lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning”.
Foundation
This Apple original sci-fi series will start streaming on September 24, and I’m all ready for an amazing visual treat. Foundation is based upon a journey to save humanity in a futuristic world. My iPad Pro’s screen with ProMotion is all set for the amazing visuals this series promises to offer.
Invasion
Another sci-fi drama series is set to hit our TV screens from October 22. Invasion will take us on a journey of the lives of five ordinary people placed in different parts of the world. But there’s a catch: Aliens have invaded our world. With a brilliant star cast, I hope Invasion turns out to be worth watching.
Finch
In a post-apocalyptic world, Finch, a robot engineer played by, wait for it, Tom Hanks survives a catastrophic solar calamity. Keeping him company in his bunker is his dog for whom he builds a robot. Finch releases on November 5.
And these are only some of the shows that have us hyped; there are many more upcoming Apple TV+ shows in 2021. Which ones are you most looking forward to?
