Apple has reached a mind boggling milestone of selling 1 billion iphones!!
That’s right. In the middle of last week, Apple has managed to pull off what many thought would be mission impossible – selling one billion units of a phone! Granted it’s a combined total of all the variations of iPhones till date. But still, it doesn’t take away from the fact that Apple has achieved a major landmark here.
Look at Tim Cook gloating while announcing the news to his staff!
“We never set out to make the most [money], but we’ve always set out to make the best products that make a difference,” Cook said at the event.
Well, to be fair, they did manage to achieve both those targets. No matter how much they say they don’t pursue profits, there’s no denying the ridiculous amounts of cash Apple is currently cradling! So for a target they were allegedly not after, I would say they’ve done pretty well!!
