The addition of the ARKit in iPhones has opened a new world for iPhone users. One full of wonder and happiness. You can do everything with AR apps, from trying out tattoos to decorating the interiors of your home.
However, the people who are most happy about this addition are probably mobile gamers, as AR makes gameplay just so much more fun. You might already know some AR games for iPhone—like Pokémon Go, Zombie Gunship Revenant AR, StackAR, which are among the popular ones. But in my own search for the perfect way to pass time, I stumbled upon a LOT of AR games that you might not even know about.
Without further ado, here are 5 games I think every iPhone user should have in their phones.
Kings of Pool
If you’re as addicted to playing pool on your phone as I am (even when you’ve got no real-life skills), this game is for you. It has both AR and normal modes and lets you play against pool players from all over the world and show off how cool you are on the global chat.
Paper Bin AR
Now that we’re all environment-friendly and everything, let’s move our skills of throwing paper balls into dustbins to the virtual world. This AR game is perfect for those who just want to kill time while they’re at the doctor’s or waiting for a meeting to begin.
Mekorama
This satisfying game will instantly soothe your soul with its relaxing and stress-free gameplay. Your only goal? Help the tiny robot get back home by puzzling through 50 mechanical dioramas that will make you fall in love with the idea of giving your brain some exercise.
Angry Birds AR
Take this classic game to another world with Angry Birds AR, where you can combat the same old pigs in your natural habitat instead. It’s incredibly fun to be actually able to walk around the structures and spot the weak points. Strategists will especially love this!
Ghostbusters World
This strangely addicting game will have you seeing ghosts everywhere. You can even make your own gang to fulfil your dreams of being a ghostbuster and compete with other ghostbusters from around the world!
